Now in its fourth year, the Village, as it has become more popularly
known, goes from strength to strength. A favourite 'show within
a show a show' with the visitors at the hugely successful
and growing Destinations
consumer travel and tourism show, the Village is a market for the
traditional and craft based products from across the world. Located
right across from the show's fantastic World Music Stage it has
a buzz of its own where visitors can browse, bargain and buy. It
is a hive of activity from start to finish.
There were over 40,000 visitors at this year's show, over 90% of
them ABC 1s, ambitious and high spending. With our new media partners,
The Times and The Sunday Times we can expect even more next year.
We have 2 Ethnic Village shows for you. One in London and one in
Birmingham. Note the dates in your diary now and tell your friends
and colleagues. Whether you are an exhibitor or visitor they are
the place to be.
2 - 5 February 2006 London Earls Court
3 - 5 March 2006 Birmingham NEC
So please read on to see if you should be reserving your booth.
If 'yes' then go straight to our BOOKING page and
make your reservation now. If you are still undecided and you would
like to know more then we are a call or an email away.
The Ethnic Handicrafts and Jewellery Village brings together
exporters, manufacturers, importers and retailers of traditional
and hand crafted products in a whole range of product sectors. The
Village is a SELLING show so no matter if you are
a start-up company or an existing small to medium sized enterprise
the Village is a business opportunty for you.
But that's not all. Because business is all about buyers - nothing
moves until its sold - we recognise that there are buyers from a
variety of sources. It isn't just about the consumer on the day,
there is a trade audience out there who regard a visit to the Village
as an opportunity for them also. So we promote the show to buyers
from:

Chain stores
Department stores
Design groups
Garden centres
Gift shops
Hotel chains
Importers
Independent retailers
Mail order companies
Restaurant groups
Specialist retailers
Wholesalers
- and more
So it begs the question; to be or not to be - an EXHIBITOR?

They are fun, they are funky and they are BUSINESS
Research has told us that the business of accessories is BIG business.
So, we are following our noses and taking the plunge. Next year
sees the launch of our pilot series of 3 shows. One in Brighton,
one in Leicester and to catch the Xmas trade later in the year we
have launched a Xmas Chic show in Bristol. No London or Birmingham
for these shows, it is time to take the show to the people.
It's not definitive but an exhibit profile built around the following
list is just what our research told us to go for. If you are an
exporter from overseas, a manufacturer or UK retailer then an Ethnic
Chic show could be your platform for more business.

The Ethnic Food Show
Yes, we have grand ideas for developing the ethnic brand of shows.
Food is now on our agenda (or should we say menu) and we have plans
for a food show for 2007. Outside of the sub-continent Britain is
the biggest consumer of ethnic foods whether in the home or out.
Every major supermarket now has gondolas specifically for chinese,
oriental, asian, thai and mexican food There are specialist shops
on every High Street and even the hot dog stall is now turning out
a variety of fast foods from overseas. It's time for us to give
you the opportunity of getting to meet the people who buy your foodstuffs.
Keep an eye on this site, there is exciting news to come.
The Ethnic
Fashion House Show
And here's another one to watch out for in 2007. Keep abreast of
our plans - watch this space!
